Faithfulness…

Galatians 6:9(KJV)

9. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

“You have seed in your spirit of everything that God is. You must learn to be faithful as God is faithful”

John 1:14 (AMP)

14. And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.

{Many times throughout Scripture, love is linked with faithfulness. Faithfulness means being consistent in doing what God asked you to do, finishing what you start, worthy of trust or belief, adhering firmly, loyal, reliable. The great leaders of the bible were finishers. Men and women who stuck with the assignments God gave them to the end. Why do you think faithfulness is such an important aspect of loving people?}

” It’s not what we do once that brings victory to our lives… Faithfulness is knowing what God is telling you to do and doing it over and over again.”

{Sometime with faithfulness persistence is the key}

Hebrews 11:25-27 (GNT)

25.He preferred to suffer with God’s people rather than to enjoy sin for a little while. 26. He reckoned that to suffer scorn for the Messiah was worth far more than all the treasures of Egypt, for he kept his eyes on the future reward. 26.It was faith that made Moses leave Egypt without being afraid of the king’s anger. As though he saw the invisible God, he refused to turn back.

{God wants us to faithfully do what’s right simply because it’s what we’re supposed to do. He wants us to trust that he will reward us appropriately and in the proper time.}

~What shift in attitude would help you release your “give to get” mentality?~

~What’s the immediate reward of trusting God with every outcome?~

“Keep on it. Even if you aren’t getting the results you want, you have to keep doing what you’re doing. Hold steady in the storm”

{God is coming and helping you. Trust I know it feels like forever! God has a perfect plan even if you can’t see it.}

{If you are having a hard time finding peace I have found praying is the best way. The God wants you to live happily now that doesn’t mean he will give you everything you think you want but as you seek him you will find peace.}

~ Are you faithful in giving even when the results are not what you want or expect?~

~ Do you praise God regardless of your circumstances?~

{As you look back at your life so far, how would you characterize you faithfulness to God? Your relationships? If you haven’t always been faithful… what excuses have you offered until now?}

Just a little something to ponder over the rest of the week 😉
